Last Minute Details for the Biggest Party of the Year - The Lake Pub Crawl!

IT'S LAKE PUB CRAWL TIME!!!!!! It's on this Saturday, February 16, 2019, the biggest party at the Lake of the Ozarks will be in full swing! Bands will be playing, busses will be running, beverages will be flowing, and beads will be flying for this year's Lake of the Ozarks Mardi Gras Pub Crawl. Come rain or shine, or even a little "wintry mix," nothing's gonna stop this party! 

The Lake Pub Crawl spans over 12 miles across the lake area with 16 different stops at bars and restaurants along the way. Just to make doubly sure that you're ready for the weekend, here are the details that you'll need to know to get your party started.    

Get Your Wristbands & T-Shirts
Your ticket to all the excitement is a $10 wristband. This wristband will get you into all 16 of the participating bars and restaurants plus a ride on any of the 20+ busses offering a sober chauffeur to all pub crawlers all night long. Wristbands can be purchased before or during the event at any of the 16 stops, specific hotel/motel sponsors, and at Sunshine Daydream on the historic Bagnell Dam Strip. 

Many of the pub crawl stops are also selling event t-shirts. These make a stylish keepsake for you to wear until you get your 2020 Lake Pub Crawl t-shirt next year!  

Board the Busses
Event busses will continuously be running the pub crawl route from 4:00 pm-2:30 am. Bars have to close at 1:30 am at the Lake of the Ozarks, but our busses are running later to make sure that everyone safely gets to where they need to be at the end of the night. Put your car keys away for the evening because we've got you covered! 

Most of the busses will stop at every participating venue on the route as well as hotels that are on the pub crawl route. That means you don't even have to drive from your hotel if it's on our way. We'll pick you up and drop you off at the door! (There is a list of on-route hotels on our website.)

A few "express busses" will only be stopping at 3 designated venues during the event. These are available in case you need to get to the other side of town quickly to meet up with friends or catch a band you're excited to see.

As we've already mentioned, there are 16 stops on this year's Lake Pub Crawl route and every single one of them will feature the best live music at the Lake of the Ozarks.

Your $10 Lake Pub Crawl wristband can be purchased at all participating stops on the route, specific hotel/motel sponsors, and at Sunshine Daydream on the historic Bagnell Dam Strip. This is your ticket into every bar & restaurant plus a safe, sober ride on all 20+ buses that will be running continuously from 4:00 pm-2:30 am. Those same buses will also be picking up and dropping off at participating hotels along the pub crawl route.

The lake area has tons of great places to stay while you're in town, and during the Lake of the Ozarks Mardi Gras Pub Crawl weekend, many of them are offering incredible rates for the event. You can find many lodging options on our website, both on and off the pub crawl route. 

Our buses will be stopping at on-route hotels, but quite a few of the off-route venues are providing their own shuttles to the event. You don't need to drive once the pub crawl starts. Put the car keys away and simply enjoy the party!

Thanksgiving is the time to reflect on all of the things in life that we are thankful for. We're sure that one of the items on your list is the Annual Lake of the Ozarks Mardi Gras Pub Crawl! To help you fill out that list a little more, here are 5 additional items to add pertaining to the biggest party at the Lake of the Ozarks. 

#1 - You Don't Have to Drive
When you plan the world's largest pub crawl, that's a lot of lake area to cover. Since a large portion of the evening involves alcoholic beverages, we wanted to make sure that there was a way for everyone to enjoy themselves without having to worry about finding a volunteer to be the sober chauffeur. After all, this event only comes around once a year!

For the price of a $10 wristband, we provide transportation on our Lake Pub Crawl buses from 4:00 pm on Saturday, February 16, 2019, through the wee hours of Sunday morning. (That wristband gets you into every bar & restaurant too!) Not only are there safe buses to transport you to every stop, but there are over 30 buses running continuously so that you don't have to wait very long when you're ready to go. Stops are also made at hotels along the route and most off-route hotels and resorts offer a shuttle of their own to get you to the pub crawl. That means you don't even need your car keys to get to the event!  

#2 - Live Music Everywhere You Go
Every single bar and restaurant on the Lake Pub Crawl route will feature some type of the best live music at the Lake of the Ozarks. There are quite a few extremely talented musicians that perform in the lake area, and you'll hear many of them during your travels around the pub crawl. THIS WEEKEND!!! The 2018 Lake of the Ozarks Mardi Gras Pub Crawl!!!

Okay party people, the Lake of the Ozarks Mardi Gras Pub Crawl is finally here THIS WEEKEND!!! On Saturday, February 17, 2018, this always amazing annual event is taking place once again. It spans over 12 miles across the lake area and features great food, fantastic drinks and incredible live music from 15 different bars and restaurants in both Lake Ozark and Osage Beach. In case you haven't heard about the details already (where have you been?) here is what you need to know to join the biggest party at the Lake of the Ozarks. 

Wristbands & Buses
A single $10 wristband will get you into the doors of all 15 pub crawl stops, as well as a ride on any and all of the pub crawl buses, all day (and night) long. These can be purchased before or during the event at all of the participating bars and restaurants, specific hotel/motel sponsors, and at Sunshine Daydreams on the Bagnell Dam Strip. 

Buses run from 4 pm-2:30 am, making sure that you have a safe and sober ride to everywhere that you are going, even after the bars shut down. Most of the buses will be stopping at each venue, plus some hotels that are also on along the route, in a continuous loop. (You can see a list of hotels/motels on the route on our website.) There will also be a few Express Busses running a limited route of only 3 stops, allowing crawlers to get across town faster if they need to. 

Bars & Live Music
The stops on this year's Lake Pub Crawl are some of the best places to party you'll find in the lake area. Every venue will host their own live entertainment, meaning you'll get to hear the best live music at the Lake of the Ozarks every time you get off a bus! Each place is unique in its own way, offering a new brand of fun at every stop. Some of them even provided us with the awesome entertainment they will be providing on Friday night too. A great warm-up for the big event!

We're only about a week away from the 2018 Lake of the Ozarks Mardi Gras Pub Crawl! Hopefully you've got most of your plans to be here on Saturday, February 17 set already.
